Job Summary
The Sr. Manager, Growth and Revenue Digital Marketing leads the development and execution of data-driven, full-funnel digital programs that convert buyer intent into measurable pipeline and revenue. As part of the Strategic Marketing team, you will contribute to digital marketing strategy for Charles River and drive digital marketing strategy in collaboration with the Strategic Marketing leadership team.
Responsibilities
• Develop and own the digital growth strategy across the digital customer experience including paid media, organic search, content syndication, and web to drive qualified demand for products and services.
• Partner with marketing and commercial leadership to translate revenue targets into channel plans, pipeline goals, and digital demand programs than span multiple businesses/portfolios.
• Build and optimize full-funnel digital programs aligned to sales cycles including nurture flows, retargeting, and account-based digital activation.
• Analyze customer behavior, intent signals, 3rd-party audiences, and digital patterns to identify high-value segments and growth opportunities.
• Oversee web conversion strategy, including UX improvements, landing page optimization, conversion rate optimization, and experimentation.
• Orchestrate the digital layer of ABM initiatives for priority accounts and key therapeutic areas.
• Partner with product marketing and content teams to define content gaps, develop digital content packages, and ensure alignment with therapeutic and service-line narratives.
• Manage agency relationships, ensuring performance accountability and alignment to revenue outcomes.
• Mentor and develop digital marketing team members; promote a culture of experimentation, data fluency, and growth thinking.
Job Qualifications
Keys to Success
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, business, or documented equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience building and driving multi-channel B2B digital marketing strategy.
• Demonstrated experience building and driving digital pipeline and revenue.
• Knowledge of the pharma, biopharma, biotech, academic, government, and industrial markets for CRO products and services.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; experience in dealing with multiple and diverse internal collaborators and interacting with business and technology partners across all organizational levels.

• Develop and implement digital strategies that engage current and prospective customers to drive successful business outcomes through multiple digital touchpoints and channels
• Collaborate and influence across a complex and dynamic global, regional and corporate digital marketing organization to anticipate, optimize, and evolve digital marketing strategies
• Review and communicate digital marketing metrics, making strategic insights and recommendations in collaboration with corporate and divisional analytics teams
• Educate and influence non-digital partners on new data sources, digital marketing capabilities and technologies and how to best use them in their go-to-market strategies
• Maintain knowledge and skills within emerging digital marketing capabilities ensuring these are shared and adopted across the organization
• Able to create and control campaign budgets
• Channel expertise within paid and organic social, marketing automation, display advertising, retargeting, pay-per-click advertising, paid and organic search, and third-party database advertising.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for digital content creation and optimization across channels.
• Strong critical thinking skills and can visualize metrics to clearly communicate key insights.
• Strong understanding of how online customer journeys interact with the sales process and an understanding of how leads and opportunities are optimally tracked and measured through a sales pipeline.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize workload effectively as well as identify and resolve problems by completing tasks with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective and efficient communication skills to facilitate working in cross-functional teams and with collaborators and agencies to deliver the best results.
• Proficient to expert skills in the following tools (or comparable tools): Google Analytics, PowerBI, pivot tables, Pardot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google AdManager, Google TagManager, Conductor, Office365.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $100K - $140K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
