Job Summary


The Director of Marketing Operations and Technology will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of marketing technology and operations to enable scalable, data-driven, revenue marketing. This role is responsible for managing the marketing technology stack, ensuring seamless integrations, maintaining data integrity, driving marketing analytics, and overseeing the marketing planning processes. The position will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and IT stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.

 

This position will work remote from home office. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • MarTech Strategy & Governance
    • Define, manage, and socialize business requirements for the marketing technology stack.
    • Oversee integration of MarTech platforms to ensure interoperability and efficiency.
    • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for technology usage and governance.
  • Data Integrity & Analytics
    • Ensure accuracy and consistency of marketing data across systems.
    • Partner with data and analytics teams to develop dashboards, reports, and insights that inform decision-making.
    • Monitor data quality and compliance with privacy and security standards.
  • Marketing Planning & Operations
    • Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning processes, including budget tracking and strategic campaign alignment.
    • Develop and maintain operational workflows to support campaign execution and performance measurement.
    • Drive continuous improvement in marketing processes and tools.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage and mentor operations team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
    • Provide clear priorities, guidance, and accountability for operational excellence.

Job Qualifications

 

Qualifications & Experience


•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information systems, science or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
•    10+ years of experience in marketing operations, technology, or related roles, with at least 3 years in leadership.
•    Proven expertise in managing MarTech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot/Marketing Automation, Tag Management, Analytics platforms).
•    Strong understanding of data governance, system integrations, and marketing analytics.
•    Experience leading marketing planning and budgeting processes.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
•    Drug development CRO or related experience preferred.

•    Deep knowledge of marketing technology platforms and integration best practices.
•    Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
•    Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.

•    Leadership skills to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $120K - 165K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
