Job Summary

Job Qualifications

  • Disease prevention and control for laboratory animals, meeting the facility's veterinary care requirements.
  • Anesthesia and postoperative care for laboratory animals, and training relevant laboratory technicians or clients.
  • Veterinary observation and care for laboratory animals, including animal reception quarantine, sampling, and shipment for testing, along with training relevant personnel.
  • Microbiological control of the environment and laboratory animals, quality control for all items entering and exiting the animal facility, formulating and executing the annual testing plan.
  • Assist in the on-site management of the animal facility.
  • Participate in animal welfare reporting, review, and biosafety inspection supervision.
  • Participate in the establishment and maintenance of quality control/assurance procedures for laboratory animal breeding and experimentation.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
