The Site Optimization Lead is a change agent that drives business process improvements to support operational excellence, growth and other key strategic initiatives. In this role you need to identify improvement opportunities, maintain key site metrics and ensure accomplishment and coordination of all site projects. In order to do so the Site Optimization Lead provides leadership, communication, support & assistance, training and coaching.
Your tasks:
• Serve as the site leader and Business Partner for the Senior Management Team for Business Process Improvement;
• Monitor, track and report progress on site strategic goals, key performance indicators, and projects monthly with the Senior Management Team;
• Be the point of contact for coordination and project management for all global and site initiatives;
• Analyse processes and data and make recommendations for improvement;
• Prioritize site projects aligned with site strategic goals by identifying areas of opportunities which improves customer experience, increase quality and/or enhance financial results;
• Lead complex process improvement initiatives involving multiple departments and/or sites;
• Ensuring best practices are shared and implemented across Charles River sites;
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget, reporting on progress and ensuring benefits are measured;
• Support management projects and build relationships to understand business objectives and priorities;
• Applies knowledge and skills in innovative ways to provide solutions to challenges;
• Establish, motivate and lead a team in the identification, design and delivery of process improvement initiatives;
• Provide training to staff in Business Process Improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma) and be a coach and mentor.
• Stay tuned on innovation, tools, processes for his/her activity;
Profile:
• Bachelor or Master degree, ideally a background in project and change management or a scientific-related discipline;
• Experience in process improvement and/or quality management;
• Fluent in Hungarian and English;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Able to influence resources/staff without direct reporting relationships;
• Experience with data tools such as Smartsheet, Excel and PowerBI
• Experience in cross functional management;
• Be proactive, creative and open to new ideas;
• Able to multi-task;
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Be flexible and like team work;Be proactive, creative and open to new ideas;
• Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain one within the year
