Job Summary

Charles River is seeking a Snr Events Specialist to support our portfolio in the APAC region. This remote-based role will work closely with both the corporate and regional commercial teams to deliver impactful, revenue-focused, and brand-aligned events. The Snr Events Specialist will own the regional tradeshow calendar, lead preshow planning to establish clear objectives, ensure flawless onsite execution, and evaluate performance to maximize return on investment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research, plan, and execute a program of APAC focused tradeshows, and hosted events across the Charles River portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and event attendees to ensure successful delivery, whilst supporting revenue growth, and strengthening market presence.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and sole point of contact for APAC tradeshows and events.
  • Drive improvements in event lead quality and velocity, ensuring compliance with corporate standards for lead capture, processing, and best practices.
  • Partner with regional marketing and CRL creative to ensure all messaging and design are on-brand, strategically aligned, and tailored to the target audience.
  • Track, analyze, and report ROI metrics for each event; provide recommendations for continuous improvement to maximize impact and revenue outcomes.
  • Oversee all aspects of event planning and logistics, including vendor contracts, purchasing, shipping, and onsite coordination.
  • Collaborate with other CRL departments on projects that generate revenue and strengthen client relationships.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent or related discipline.
  • Experience:  Four to six years related experience and/or training, including experience managing large tradeshows.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Certification/Licensure:  None.
  • Other:  Proficiency in English is essential; multiple languages are advantageous. Knowledge of CRM systems, Smartsheet and Cvent or similar software/tools preferred
