Job Summary

As an Operational Quality & Data Support Student for our global Operational Enablement team, you will be collaborating closely with cross-functional colleagues to support data analysis, category mapping, data classification, and system support activities.

 

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Supporting data analysis and data review activities related to operational quality and risk management
  • Performing category mapping and data classification alignment to support operational quality reporting and insights;
  • Reviewing datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and flagging discrepancies;
  • Assisting with French-to-English translation of documents, data elements, labels, and system fields, as needed;
  • Participating as a contributor in DSA Operational Quality System development activities, including attending Agile development sprints and scrum meetings, and supporting data preparation, mapping, and analysis activities, as appropriate;
  • Preparing summary reports, PowerPoint presentations, and observations based on data reviews and analyses;
  • Utilizing Power BI, Smartsheet, SharePoint, SharePoint Lists, and Microsoft Office tools to support data tracking and reporting;
  • Collaborating with team members to resolve data discrepancies and classification issues;
  • Providing regular updates on progress and escalating issues or risks when identified;
  • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of operational quality system tools, reports, and SharePoint sites;
  • Supporting initiatives related to process improvement and operational effectiveness;
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively with cross-functional colleagues across global teams in a team-based environment.

Key Elements

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:  

  • University student enrolled in business, sciences, data analytics, operations, or a related discipline;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and review data across multiple sources;
  • Experience using data and collaboration tools such as:
    • Power BI
    • Smartsheet
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • SharePoint and SharePoint Lists
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks;
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset;
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and electronic documentation;
  • Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding French.

 

Role Specific Information:

  • Location: Remote;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, day schedule;
  • Temporary position, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
