We are seeking an Animal Care Technician I for our Insourcing Solutions site located in Hamilton, MT.
This role offers a $500 Sign-on Bonus.
As the Animal Care Technician I, you will be responsible for the well-being of our research animals and their housing. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as impact the lives of patients across the world.
In this role, key responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining cagewash and animal holding ABSL 4 facilities in a clean and organized manner
- Operating equipment and performing general housekeeping
- Clean, sanitize, repair caging materials and autoclaves
- Animal husbandry: providing food, water and clean environment
- Performing and recording daily animal health checks
- Animal handling and restraint
- Receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply orders
- Preparing and submitting all required written records, charts, logs, and inventories
- Work actively with customers to address requests, inquiries, and complaints
- Provide technical assistance
The training and development offered to our entry level Animal Care Technician's is best-in-class and designed to help you succeed. This is an entry-level position that will allow you to gain experience within the life sciences.
Job Qualifications:
If you posses the following qualities, we will train you in the rest:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Enjoys being part of a team.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Role Specific Information:
- Location: Hamilton, MT
- Pay: $22.00 / hour (USD)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday 7AM-3:30PM. Must be available some weekend and holidays if necessary
