The Charles River site in Évreux is a unique 2-hectare campus located at the gateway to Normandy. It offers an innovative, dynamic, and collaborative scientific environment where nearly 500 people work every day towards a shared goal: contributing to the development of pharmacotherapies, while respecting animal welfare.

 

The role

The Human Resources department is recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner (F/M) on a permanent contract to join a strong team of 8 people.
You will act as a true partner to the Lab Sciences teams, providing hands-on HR support to both managers and employees within a stimulating international environment.

 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager Human Resources, you will play a key role in supporting teams and implementing the HR strategy.

 

Manager support

  • Deploy Group and site HR strategy within your scope.
  • Ensure implementation of collective agreements (working time, seniority, etc.).
  • Support Lab Sciences managers through close guidance, including individual coaching when necessary.
  • Lead the performance management process.
  • Contribute to the consolidation and deployment of the compensation policy.
  • Facilitate thematic workshops (RPS prevention, goal setting, etc.).
  • Actively participate in management meetings.

Employee development

  • Coordinate People Reviews, identify succession plans, and contribute to career management.
  • Provide expertise in labor law and HR management (disciplinary matters, resources, costs, individual cases).
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR practices through proactive suggestions.

Engagement survey

  • Monitor and analyze engagement survey results within your scope.
  • Co-develop concrete action plans with management to improve workplace well-being.

Projects

  • Contribute to various cross-functional HR projects supporting transformation and continuous improvement of internal processes.

 

Desired qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Human Resources and/or Labor Law, with 8–10 years of experience in HR, including at least 5 years as an HRBP.
You are organized, proactive, and enjoy working in a team environment.
You are detail-oriented and adhere to deadlines, procedures, and guidelines.
Fluency in English is required for meetings as well as reading and writing Group documentation.

 

Contract terms

  • Pharmaceutical industry collective agreement, grade: 6 
  • Contract: Permanent (CDI)
  • Salary: From €50,000 gross per year over 13 months
  • 100% employer-covered health insurance, company restaurant, works council (CSE)
  • Transport allowance, profit-sharing/bonus schemes,
  • Site not accessible by public transport – personal transportation required
