Job Summary

  • Pack and ship products to customers and complete all associated paperwork.
  • Check orders prepared by others for shipment to customers; monitor for accuracy of lot numbers, quantities, certificate of analysis, and agreement between customer order and content of package.
  • Move finished goods to released storage area after QA release.
  • Perform inspection of final product as necessary; verify count, package insert, that label and vial meets standards described in SOPs and product specs.\
  • Perform Kit production: assemble packaging, components and necessary paperwork for Kit release.
  • Maintain retention storage area, retrieve samples for QC testing, and fill out appropriate paperwork.
  • Maintain customer returns by inspecting and quarantining the product until QA release.Create freight shipping labels; must perform measurement and weighing and document shipping specifications.
  • Maintain documentation as required by FDA, company policy, and cGMP.Share responsibility for inventory control to prevent stock-out situations.
  • Clean and maintain work and storage areas and adhere to established safety procedures.
  • Perform seasonal duties associated with processing crude LAL, as needed.
  • Assist other areas of the facility when needed.
  • Remain proficient in all SOPs in areas of responsibility.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

•    Education:  High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
•    Experience: Zero to twelve months related experience in and/or training in a GMP manufacturing environment.
 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
•    Tasks require full range of motion of arms. 
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. 
•    The employee is frequently required to stand while performing duties; sit; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 
•    The employee is occasionally required to work/type at a computer.
•    The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly wears protective clothing (goggles, face shield, surgical mask, cap, gloves, scrubs, boots)
•    The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, works with sharp objects, works with or near toxic or caustic chemicals, works with biohazards, works with live animals (small, medium, large) with risk of exposure to allergens, is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, is exposed to unpleasant odors, is exposed to wet, humid and/or extreme temperature conditions, is exposed to vibration.
•    The noise level in the work environment is usually low / moderate

Compensation Data

The pay for this position is $19.25 hr. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, and location.
