Job Summary
Job Qualifications
- Handling daily general ledger operations for multiple entities in both China and the US, including R&D cost accounting and project management, accounting for construction-in-progress & fixed assets, lease accounting, GAAP adjustments for China-US differences, and financial statement preparation .
- Planning, organizing, and executing fixed asset physical inventories and conducting the related accounting adjustments .
- Executing SOX audits and regularly updating SOX control points to ensure no major deficiencies are identified .
- Performing daily operations and process optimization within the SAP system (S/4HANA), and periodically updating the SAP operation manuals.
- Liaising with US counterparts regarding fixed assets, lease accounting, and other matters; submitting various required reports to the US headquarters on schedule.
- Coordinating with external accounting firms to complete the annual audit and tax audit, reviewing audit and tax audit reports, and reconciling and adjusting book-to-tax differences .
- Handling tax provisions and true-up procedures for deferred income taxes for the US headquarters .
- Performing other tasks assigned by management.
