Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary Principal Brand Designer to lead the development and execution of high-impact, brand-defining design work across channels and touchpoints.
This role is critical to elevating how our brand is experienced through campaigns, product launches, digital platforms, and corporate communications.
As a Principal Brand Designer, you’ll serve as a creative leader, cross-functional partner, and hands-on designer who brings together business goals, audience insights, and bold visual storytelling. You’ll help shape the future of our brand while mentoring others and championing design excellence across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead strategic design initiatives by driving the creative vision and execution of major brand moments, campaigns, product launches, executive communications, and storytelling through engaging multimedia content across digital and print platforms, including video, web, social media, and collateral.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to translate business objectives into cohesive, compelling brand experiences that drive results.
- Champion brand consistency by ensuring visual alignment across all touchpoints, digital, print, environmental, and experiential while maintaining and evolving brand standards, guidelines, and assets.
- Provide creative direction and feedback to junior and mid-level designers. Contribute to a culture of excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field required.
Experience:
• 8–10+ years of brand, visual, or communication design experience—preferably in-house at a global company.
• Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, design craft, and an ability to bring brand stories to life across formats.
• Expertise in brand systems, typography, layout, print design, and design thinking.
• Experience collaborating with creative teams, executives, and cross-functional partners.
• Experience managing external vendors and agencies, with a strong track record in leading large-scale booth designs for trade shows and industry events, from concept through execution.
Other:
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator,) and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles and digital media trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with visual identity design, ensuring consistency across print, digital, and video media.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in corporate branding, advertising agencies, or digital marketing teams.
• Proven ability to develop interactive multimedia storytelling experiences that drive audience engagement.
• Understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques for corporate, commercial, and social media videos.
WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and work/type at a computer.
• Ability to thrive in a remote environment, effectively balancing independent work with seamless collaboration.
• Travel may be required for multimedia shoots, events, or team meetings.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $96,000 - $105,000K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
