Job Overview

Provide strategic leadership for global finance business processes driving transformation through technology, ERP systems, and process standardization. Serve as the primary expert and business partner for Finance in defining, implementing, and optimizing global financial processes, systems, and initiatives.


Lead the development and execution of a global finance business process strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, integration of acquisitions, ERP implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, business operations, shared services, Genpact and executive leadership to enable scalable, efficient, and compliant financial operations.

 

  • Position will work remote from home office located in the US.
  • This position requires domestic and international travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Develop and implement a strategic vision for a global finance business process team to support Global Finance and the business, including but not limited to:  integrating acquisitions into all financial systems, supporting the future roll outs of the ERP system to legacy non ERP sites and continuous improvement initiatives. 
•    Oversee the operations of the finance business process group, drive process improvement initiatives, and foster a customer service culture, including the development of tools and methods for project deliverables and reporting on KPIs.
•    Gather requirements to define and own the roadmap for finance ERP enhancements and roll-outs of ERP to legacy businesses.  Create a pipeline of continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiencies for business process and ERP utilization. 
•    Facilitate documentation of all business process work streams (O2C, P2P & R2R), partnering with the business, Procurement and Shared Service Centers (SSC) to create the network of SMEs who will actively participate in projects and create business process documentation working with the Business Process Analysts.
•    Evaluate potential tools for process documentation repository.
•    Develop a roadmap in collaboration with Corporate Finance, the Genpact team and SSCs’ for harmonization of process globally for O2C, P2P and R2R. 
•    Support the Genpact team to improve Shared Service process and systems.
•    Collaborate with Master Data teams to ensure governance and data integrity in all finance systems.
•    Partner with internal controls to ensure SOX compliance, control design, and monitoring across financial processes
•    Provide leadership and development for the business process team. Establish & monitor departmental and individual goals and development plans.
•    Oversee recruitment and develop a succession plan. Motivate & enable the team to achieve goals and objectives.
•    Foster the spirit of communication, collaboration and continuous improvement within the organization leveraging new or existing business systems.
•      Support due diligence and integration of acquisitions, including financial systems and process  alignment.
•    Conduct gap assessments and define integration roadmaps for newly acquired entities.
•    Responsible for personnel management activities such as scheduling, personnel actions (hiring, promotions, transfers, etc.), orientation, training and development, providing regular direction and feedback on performance, disciplinary actions and preparing and delivering annual performance and salary reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Language: Fluency in writing and speaking in English
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with a Master’s in Business Administration or advanced degree preferred
•    Experience: 15-20 years of combined project management and Finance experience in a large or midsized multinational company. Broad and deep knowledge in finance business processes and technologies, including skills in SAP, and other financial consolidation systems, including global ERP implementations and business process architecture.  
•    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
•    Other: Demonstrate a strong command of systems acumen with large ERP experience (SAP preferred). Track record of large transformation implementations. Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written skills. Excellent team building skills. Strong ability to collaborate, influents and build consensus.
•    Travel:  10 – 25%
