Job Overview
We currently have an Assistant Technician 1 vacancy within our Operational Support Group, based at our site in Tranent, East Lothian. Working as an Assistant Technician you will join a motivated, multi skilled team responsible for providing logistical support to all operational departments.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Cleaning of Lab Glassware
• Monitoring and maintaining levels of consumable products
• Maintaining the laboratory in a clean, tidy and presentable fashion
• Reagent formulation
• Chemical disposal
• Non-study specific archiving
• Communicating and working effectively as part of a team
• Working to agreed deadlines
• Driving a van and transferring data and materials.
• Administrative tasks
The minimum requirements for this position are:
• Three or more Standard Grades
• Full clean driving license
Salary for this post is £24,050.50 per annum.
