Study Director Analytical Chemistry
Department:
The department of Chemistry consists of approximately 100 employees divided over the units Analytical and Physical Chemistry, Bioanalysis and Test Item Receipt and Formulation. Our research is diverse and we investigate a multitude of substances with an extensive modern equipment park. Our research is focused on making the safe use of new substances possible.
Team:
The Analytical and Physical Chemistry unit is enthusiastic team specialized in method development, validation and analysis of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, polymers, pesticides and other materials in various samples (water, formulations, soil, food). Our labs and equipment are state-of-art including: LC-MSMS, GC-MSMS, ICP-MS, IC and other analytical systems.
About your role:
As a Study Director with good project management skills, you are responsible for the management, performance, and scientific quality of your projects. You provide interpretation and report the results to our clients. You work in close contact with our clients, and you are able to build a good and lasting working relationship with them. Together with a team of specialists you are the prime contact for our clients for technical and scientific questions regarding analytical chemistry.
Primary responsibilities:
- Responsible for progress and quality of the studies, scientific content and reporting of the study results;
- Close contact with our clients and other parties involved in the execution of the studies.
What is required:
- Bachelors degree with experience in analytical method development or a MSc/ PhD grade in Analytical Chemisty;
- Relevant experience in working with LC, LC-MS, GC and/ or GC-MS;
- Experience in method development;
- Proficiency in English and a good understanding of Dutch
Nice to have:
- Experience with GLP
