Why did you choose Charles River for an internship placement?: I wanted the real-deal application of the biology that I’ve learned in school.

Why do you like working at Charles River? It’s a very positive work environment. In my position, I make a difference in pushing sensitive data and see the impact in the drug development pipeline.

What is your current role with Charles River?: Molecular Technologist.
Why did you choose Charles River for an internship placement? I wanted to do an internship with Charles River's Newark site because I am interested in molecular biology and the microbial ID work they do here.

Why do you like working at Charles River? I enjoy working for Charles River because they have allowed me to grow. Charles River has been supportive of me, as well as others, to continue my education by being flexible.

What is your current role with Charles River?: I am a Research Technician II.
Why did you choose Charles River for an internship placement? When I was attending college, I debated a lot of careers after school and my grandmother was diagnosed with ALS. After that I decided to pursue a career in animal research!
Share your advice to students looking to do an internship with Charles River: I would mainly say to do your research! We have a lot of people come through the door and say this job isn’t what they expected, but for those of us that knew what to expect, love our jobs and love continuing the mission to save lives!

Why did you choose Charles River for an internship placement?: I wanted to learn how computers are utilized within a real-world setting and I also like science and appreciate the work being done here.

Why do you like working at Charles River?: Good co-workers, each day is never the same. Lots of different projects to expand my knowledge to different areas.

Why did you choose Charles River for an internship placement? My previous teachers had both worked here and had told me it is a great place to work and getting the internship at the age I was seemed like an amazing opportunity. I also love science so it just fueled my desire to work here.

Why do you like working at Charles River? Charles River is an amazing place to work and to intern, it teaches you amazing skills that you can take with you throughout other careers.
