For over 30 years, the Charles River Microbial Solutions team has provided QC testing solutions to ensure customers’ compliance with regulatory standards while setting new standards in test performance. With the goal of offering exceedingly precise and robust microbial solutions, we develop and apply the most progressive methodologies to ensure a product’s safety in the marketplace. The Charleston, SC site manufactures our trusted and proven Endosafe® products that include FDA-licensed LAL reagents, cartridges and accessories for bacterial endotoxin testing. Our Technical Service staff develops test methods to assure that drug formulations are compatible for LAL testing. In addition to our endotoxin testing products and services, we also provide evaluation testing in our applications lab for customers using our Celsis® products, which include performing pre-sale studies and troubleshooting. Included in the Microbial Solutions portfolio is our Accugenix® brand, located in Delaware, which specialize in bacterial and fungal identification and strain-typing services.
